Weekly Message
GCSEs have begun with Year 11 pupils sitting their Graphics, Art, Textiles and Photography exams this week. From this point onwards, there are GCSE exams every week. Good luck to all of the pupils involved. It is a stressful time for pupils, parents and staff alike.

The warm weather has made this a pleasant first week back at Cams Hill School. As we are now in the summer term, the PE department are running an exciting range of extra-curricular clubs, including cricket, badminton and rounders. Details will be on the school website next week, or talk to one of the PE staff for further details.

As we approach the Spring Break, I am writing to thank you for your ongoing support and positive partnership working with Cams Hill School. It has been an incredibly busy Spring Term involving many and varied activities both within and beyond the curriculum.

As we near the end of a short but busy term, the school is recognising the successes of pupils during Celebration Assemblies. Due to take place this week and next, it is an ideal opportunity to reflect on the many achievements of our amazing pupils.

It was a mixed week for sport at Cams Hill. The Year 7 boys’ rugby team lost 45-20 and the Year 8 boys’ rugby team lost 40-7. Both matches were against Brookfield. However, the Year 7/8 girls’ football team won a thrilling match 11-9 against Brookfield.
