The week has concluded with the sun shining!

The school is gearing up for Sport Relief which takes place next week with pupils already instigating several fundraising activities. Parents/carers are in receipt of a letter about the non-uniform day next Friday and pupils have been told about the various events they can take part in on the day.

Assemblies this week have highlighted the various worthy causes that Sport Relief supports to see how the money raised is spent. We look forward to a fun-packed day.

1,000 Faces

On Monday Cams Hill School took on the challenge of getting 1,000 faces together for a video filmed by Wave105 for their charity launch.

Pupils and staff were amazing! Walking in front of a ‘green screen’, Andy Jackson from Wave105 filmed the smiling faces and then put together a promotional video. So many people got involved – teachers, pupils, members of the catering team, the site team and the Headteacher.

Thank you to everyone involved.  The video can be viewed on Wave 105’s Facebook page.

World Book Day

This week we celebrated World Book Day and the school library was lucky enough to host Waterstones, Fareham. Two members of staff from our local branch brought the shop to life for pupils by supplying all the World Book Day titles, plus a great selection of fiction and non-fiction.

Pupils were invited to exchange their tokens for one of the special books on offer this year or use them to take a pound off any purchase.

Pupils were really lucky to have this opportunity and it was lovely to see them enjoying the books on offer.
