Weekly Message – Issue 3

Endeavour, Illustrious, Invincible and Warrior – this week we have celebrated the launch of our new House System! Staff and pupils have gathered with fellow house members and house leaders to hear the plans for the year ahead. The pupils have a coloured badge to wear on their blazer to indicate their house membership and have had the opportunity to vote for a charity they would wish to support in the coming year. Staff have already participated in activities to earn points for their house and with a dodgeball event coming up soon for pupils and staff, the competition is well underway! Exciting times ahead.

Weekly Message – Issue 2

As we reach the end of our second week of the Autumn Term, the new school year is well underway! Most pupils will have met all of their teachers for the year ahead and will have familiarised themselves with their new classroom routines. Year 10 pupils have started their GCSE/Key Stage 4 courses; in some cases, in subjects that are new to the curriculum this year – Business Studies, Sociology, Economics, Creative iMedia and Dance. Curriculum development is an integral part of our work to ensure that there is breadth and balance and something of interest for everyone.

Weekly Message

The school has enjoyed a fun-filled penultimate week of the Summer Term. After months of hard work and commitment the cast, supported by their wonderful crew, have taken to the stage to perform the ‘Little Mermaid Junior’. For three consecutive nights, the pupils have wowed the audience with fabulous singing, amazing costumes and a stunning set with its underwater theme. The pupils are the stars of the show but Mrs Brush (Drama Teacher) has been pivotal in pulling this together and the school thanks her for all her hard work.
