Year 8                  11.65

Year 9                  7.58

On our return to school this week, we focused our attention on what it means to be part of the Cams Hill School community by being Ready, Respectful and Safe. We actively promote these expectations to ensure that every member of the community experiences every day the very best of what the school can offer.

For further details, please see the letter sent to parents/carers from Mrs Harrison-Jones (Headteacher) on Friday and we ask parents/carers to continue to support their child to meet these expectations particularly with ‘readiness’ by ensuring that they are punctual, in correct uniform and are appropriately equipped for the school day.

Inset Day – Friday 24 June 2022

We remind pupils, parents and carers that the school will be closed to pupils on Friday 24 June 2022 for staff to engage in Continued Professional Learning activities. Curriculum development and delivery is always an area of focus for a school but even more so presently as we continue to identify need, determine necessary interventions and evaluate and build the curriculum post pandemic.

Changes to Lunchtime Arrangements for Year 7

From Monday 13 June 2022, Year 7 will have their lunch break at 12.20 on all days of the week except Tuesday when lunch break will be at 12.05.

Pride Month

Here at Cams Hill School, we proudly celebrate Pride Month!

For our pupils, Pride Month is the perfect opportunity to promote inclusivity, acceptance, and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride month is also about recognising the impact LGBTQ+ people are having all around the world and coming together to acknowledge how far LGBTQ+ rights have come!

Year 7 Netball

On Thursday, the Year 7 netball squad represented Fareham in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight School Games at Southampton Sports Centre. The girls were an absolute credit to the school and played some impressive netball. We won four out of the six games played and narrowly missed out on the semi-finals. Well done to the team!
