Cams Charity
At Cams Hill School, we are proud to work alongside the local community. This year we are working closely with the projects below to help support charity projects and local initiatives.
Fundraising for Charities which Impact Our Local Area
CHS target for fundraising this year is £6k.

The Eight Foundation
Promising to match every donated pound with the same from Eight Wealth Management, the foundation raised over £100,000 within a year, and grants were being made to provide terminally-ill children with holidays of a lifetime, hospitals with new technology and families with life-changing equipment and support.
Sophie’s Legacy
Sophie wanted the following things changed and this will be her legacy in memory of a remarkable young girl who touched so many lives.
Her charity would like to:
Play specialist 7 days a week in hospitals
Improvements to food for children in hospital
For parents to be fed when staying with their child
For GP’s, nurses and health professionals to be trained in childhood cancer
To increase the funds (currently 3%) in childhood cancer research
Music Fusion
We work with some of the most complex and vulnerable young people in Hampshire. Our young people are referred to us by established partners including: Hampshire’s Youth Offending Teams, Children’s and Family Services, Non-mainstream education centres, other young people’s charities and the NHS.
Music Fusion invests in young people on the fringes of our society. Using music (and the culture that comes with it) as a tool to start an open, genuine and authentic dialogue. Our young people often think they are the only ones going through life’s challenges.
- By giving our young people a voice, and collaborating musically, we help them to realise they are not alone.
- Through peer support and positive role models our young people get the chance to reintegrate into society.
