Relationships and Sex Education Consultation

Relationships and Sex Education consultation

In September we launched an exciting new Social Studies (Personal Development) Curriculum.
This values-led curriculum is planned and led by Miss Deathers (Curriculum Leader for Social Studies) and brings together Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) – including the Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education curricula – and Citizenship.
In Key Stage 3 this is also supported by the inclusion of relevant Sociology, Psychology, and Economics content.
As we come to the end of the first half term, we are reviewing both our RSE policy and its delivery as part of the new curriculum, and would like your feedback to help us to do this.

Here’s how you can help:

If you would like to, you can read and review the following documents:

To help you to understand the curriculum requirements we need to meet, a list of what all pupils are expected to know by the end of secondary school is included as Appendix 1 in the draft policy.

Then, if you would like to, please complete this short survey based on the information from the documents by 04 November 2024: https://forms.office.com/e/bzyKMpXXPZ
